Tornadoes and other natural disasters represent emotional upheaval. Tornadoes specifically point to “Fear of Separation from Family Members.” There is a person in the situation you are experiencing where you may feel that if you tell them your true thoughts and feelings that you will lose them. Our fears of what might happen when we communicate honestly generally do not occur as we imagine. Tornadoes are a culmination of air in its most destructive capacity, pointing to the realm of thought (air). Look clearly at your fears and try to determine which are truly based on a possible reality, rather than an imagined “worst case” scenario. Trust your heart to tell you what to do. The pain we experience and perceive is truly a barometer of the Destruction we perceive being done. We often categorize experiences as small or large, depending on the loss we think we experienced. Pain is measured according to the depth of that loss or the importance of what was destroyed.
Another possible representation is the presence of a teenager in the family whose behavior is affecting the family unit. Often, when dealing with teens, there is the element of fear that if you are too tough on them that they will run away or distance themselves emotionally even further. I feel that it is worth every effort to get through and guide your child. Later, in adulthood, your child will look back and see that you tried your best to help, guide and protect them, no matter what decision they ultimately made at the time.
Tornadoes can also point to an individual with a “stormy” personality. Alcoholics, Substance Abusers and Emotionally/Mentally ill or volatile people are generally represented here. In the presence of these personalities, one usually will do everything possible, to the point of extreme self-sacrifice, in order to keep a semblance of peace. The upheaval we feel in these situations is repressed and buried and can often lead to physical sickness if brought from a mental level to a physical level, often manifesting as ulcers, disorders of the blood (high blood pressure, diabetes, etc), disorders of the liver (which represents anger) and abuse of alcohol and substances or sleeping aids. These behaviors are also viewed as having the destructive capacity of a natural disaster.
Whatever the situation, know that your dream is based on your “Perception” of what is going on. Our fears amplify our personal projections of what might occur if we take action, and we pull back, doing nothing and berating ourselves for an assumed lack of courage. This is not reality. Approach the situation with love and communicate honestly, without excess emotion.

ReplyDeleteyeah, the first paragraph really was on point. im getting married in 2 wks and i left my family. i am 19 and i just feel that my heart is telling me to run but, i just cant seem to. i do love him so very much. but i just dont know wat to do. i dreamed that their were hundreds of tornadoes at all of these intersections in my town. i wasn't scared or anything we just stood their watching them tangle. but they never came towards us and it never rained or anything. another thing is their was 3 strong winds in my dreams that kept knocking me down. could u tell me what you think? anybody. just write to me. my name is starrsullens thankyou

Last night I had a dream that I was at my house in indiana and in real life once I was in a tornado there but in my dream the wind was so strong you could feel it in my house from very far away I was only with my dad and I set up a place in the basement were the tornado could not hit as hard when we got down there the wind was blowing so hard in the house it was like trying to run in water thin my dad started to get really sick and he could not walk he was on the floor I tryed to help him and thin I woak up if you could tell me a little more about this my name is Emily
ReplyDeleteEmily, the fact that you were only with your Dad is significant. Where were your other family members? Do you feel closer to your Dad or are afraid of growing further apart? It could be pointing something your Dad is doing that is or will affect his health and your fear is that he will never be healthy again. It sounds like your Dad needs support and encouragement. ReplyDeleteLast night I had a very meaningful dream about this. At first, my brother and I were right under the funnel, watching it form. Once it hit, we took cover and it was over in a matter of seconds. But right after the storm, the sun was shining again and I was standing on the roof of a house, looking down into a garden. I'm not sure, but I really think that this is something more meaningful than just any ordinary dream. To me, it says that things are far off balance, and will be even more so later on; but, things will be brighter and more stable as a result. I trust my own idea, but I would like to know if anyone else sees the same meaning as I do.

I would say that your brother is your subconscious focus. You watched the funnel form, which means you are consciouslessly aware of a "scenario" that is forming in your life. You and your brother take cover, which might lend to the idea that you look to your brother for strength and protection. I'd like to ask if you are adopted and/or if you and your brother grew up in a home with difficult parents?
After the storm, the sun is shining brightly...with the light of consciousness that each "storm" does pass! In recognition of this, you are now on the roof of a house. The house is YOU and the rooms within are the components that make up your psyche and beliefs. After a period of perceived Destruction, you Rise Above (ascension of the consciousness) the situation. However, I will add that there may be a reluctance to dig into your memories of the past. I say this for 2 reasons: You're on top of the house, not inside it, and you are peering into a garden, which represents the past and reaping what you sow. Looking to your past with forgiveness would address the underlying issue trying to be recognized consciously by you in your dream.
Yes, there is an imbalance within the family unit, but it doesn't mean it has to stay that way. Through inner work and consciously recognizing that while outside circumstance can appear Destructive, with love and forgiveness, you can "survive" any family dynamic or situation.

ReplyDeleteI would love to have more detail, but a Tank would denote something that holds things in, such as emotions, memories and words that beg to be expressed. Again, tornadoes point to family, so there may be feelings of not feeling free to express yourself, and that you might feel "isolated" or separate. If you could tell me what color the tank was and the shape of it, I can tap in more, but I'm picturing something like a water tower.
Fighting off the tornadoe points to being mentally poised to Fight Back against a situation in which you feel "threatened." I find this very interesting.
Generally, we have two immediate reactions to situations: Fight or Flight. Most people, as shown in the other comments, RUN from the tornadoe. You, in intriguing contrast, are "ready" to fight them (several of them?) off. The alludes to a sense of "preparedness" to "confront" subsequent situations that arise.
So, in summary, the dream is pointing feelings of seclusion and willingness to fight to preserve your Self, as well as your self-image.

ReplyDeleteLast night I dreamed that me and my family were at home and then I looked outside where my little brother was playing and saw a tornado coming straight to our house. I ran for my brother and then my whole family and me went to this underground door. Can you tell me more about this please I would really appreciate it.

ReplyDeleteWow - your opening paragraph hits the spot. I'm "at odds" with my brother and we haven't spoken by phone since January. There have been a couple emails, but they seem to end in him emotionally blasting me. I think it's time to write a letter, and your opening paragraph is the perfect beginning to my letter. I'm just curious, though - in prior years, I've dreamt of being chased by tornadoes. In my dreams, I would either be running from them outside, or I'd try to get away by running inside a building and down a flight of stairs, only to find the tornadoe following me indoors. Am I crazy or what?! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteFirst tornado dream it was several tornados around me big ones small ones hiting the ground hard I had my friend with me and we argue about which direction we should go we ended up going her way when I said no and headed straight toward the tornado....I woke up.. a few nights later I was in a house with people I didn't know preparing for the tornado I had rope that I tied to a pipe as I looked out the window it was a red color no sound water all around...I woke up
ReplyDeletei had a dream that i saw a tornado coming out of no where and all of a sudden my dad and my closest sister out of the 3 i have appeard and we all held onto eachother to try to stay safe, the wierd thing is the dream started out with them not in it and once the tornado came they appeared. earlier that day i had been arguing with my boyfriend about how i miss my sisters and family and how i never get to see them and how i feel like im choosing between my family and my boyfriend. we got into a huge argument over my family because he doesnt like them. then i had that dream and woke up crying, but the scarey part was at the end of the dream the tornado lifted up my sister but i woke up before i found out if she was sucked up or not, what does that mean?
ReplyDeleteI have had 2 dreams where I have experienced a tornado. In the 1st dream, my husband and I were both outside of a building when I saw the funnel. I told him that we should go to the boiler room for safety and we did but I could feel the tornado pass over the building. When the storm had past we went out and saw that the buildings around us were destroy but the building where we had been was relatively untouched. In the 2nd dream, I was with a group of strangers but I was the one that saw the funnel and told everyone to go to the center of the building to take cover. Then ending was similar but I also saw a map detailing the path of the tornado and that it stopped in a place called Otto.

ReplyDeleteIve been trying to sleep but I keep falling back into the same disturbing dream. At my old apartment lived there most of my life. Tornadoes, have to save my nieces and my sister and the cats and my parents. It keeps starting over and over a little different every time. During the day at night always inside sometime outside the last one that I couldnt take was going to save parents as if they had just woke up in time the tornadoes tail swiped in through the ceiling at my parents. I cant stand this mess I live in Germany family is all in the states. Im 21 and now so even more after this bad dream I wanna run to my moms. I can already tell nothing but negative is to follow.
ReplyDeleteThe other night, I dreamed that multiple tornadoes were coming towards my house, so I drove to my grandparents home which has a bunker. The tornadoes appeared to be following me, so I drove faster. Once I arrived, my grandfather told me that he couldn't find my grandmother. We searched the house and eventually found her lying on her bed. Suddenly, the house burst open with light because of the storm, and I woke up at 8:32 that morning; about an hour later I got a call that my grandmother passed away on her bed at 8:32.
ReplyDeleteThis has been very accurate as to what I have been dealing with and really helps explain why I had a dream about tornadoes. I am a mother and my son has zero contact with his father. I am currently torn between two men. One who is twice my age, he has a reputation of drinking a lot, someone my family would not be proud I was with, I spent time with him secretly right before dating my current boyfriend who is only 4 years older than I, hard working, would treat me right and give my family a good life. Although, it has been hard for me to deal with dating someone my age who has no kids. The day before I had this dream I had strong feelings of wanting to tell my mom how I feel about the older man because I feel like my heart is with him, but I am afraid this will disappoint her. These tornadoes were not normal tornadoes they did not cause destruction. They formed from the clouds one after another which seemed like a few minutes apart and were very dark brown. A child hood friend, who has turned into a heavy drinker, is the only person I remember with me watching the tornadoes from a window. I remember watching my son from a distance standing beside the tornado putting his hand out to it trying to touch it which made a loud high pitched noise such as aluminum being welded together. The tornado did not hurt or move my son, but I had the feeling of fear when he did this. I also tried taking pictures of my son doing this and also of just the tornadoes themselves with my phone and my phone would not allow the picture to capture.
ReplyDeleteLast night I had a dream that I saw my neighbor on his bicycle downtown and just afterwards thunder clouds had filled the valley around my town I watched the black clouds begin to drop tornadoes into the foothills around the valley to the east and then to the west. I was in The downtown park and began to ride my bicycle home where tornadoes had began to brew just beyond my house, I was thinking of all the people's lives being destroyed and a tornado picked me up about 10' and set me back down and vanished. I am in the middle of moving and when I got home the home that I am moving out of had been severely damaged, mostly due to flooding the foundation had cracked into two pieces and sunk almost 6' on the side by the patio, right where I had pulled my truck on the patio days before, I began trying to cover my tire marks in fear of the landlord blaming me. My fiancé or no one else was around, she may have been In the new house and i couldn't find my neighbor. Any ideas? Your feedback to other people has been awesome! Thanks -Josh
ReplyDeleteI've had two relatively same dreams in one week. Never dreamt it before now. Both woke me up with a feeling of significant fear. In one dream it came to me that I was in Indiana. I don't know how or why being that I have never been in Indiana. I am in counseling and my counseling appt was about codependency today which struck me as odd because she stated I take control in fear that I am going to lose my husband which uses Percocet off the street illegally quite often. I find it odd that my girls aren't in either of the dreams and I don't physically see my husband but I am lost from him in both dreams. I don't know why but I don't even think not see or worry about the girls or their whereabouts and they are my true life and soul. I see the actual tornado it's dark outside black skies no rain very windy I'm outside and don't know where to go nor do I have a place to go. I feel as in the dream I don't know where I am or how I even got there and have no idea where or how Indiana came to mind. Do they even have tornados there lol? Bebegreenen @yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteLast night I had a dream involving tornadoes. I watched a very large tornado roll past my home from my backyard to the front yard into nearby neighborhood until it dissapated. I was trying frantically to capture it on my camera phone but failed. The sky cleared as I watched from my front yard. I went into the house to tell my family what had just happened. I saw the sky once again turning gray and dark in my bakyard and went back outside. There I saw the dark gray clouds swirling furiously, forming a long row of tornadoes. I realized that I had to gather evryone and flee. My grandmother (who has been dead many years) was there and I loaded both her and my mother in the car. I gathered up my pets - though some of them have also been dead many years. There was also a litter of days old puppies (no idea where they came from) - I put them also into my car, rushing before the tornadoes came upon the house. Some of the pets I left behind (these were the ones who are dead).
ReplyDeleteThis dream was terrifically intense and vivid. I woke as I was driving off in my car, my brother and mother (both alive) and my grandmother (passed away) in the car.
I rarely if ever have dreams this intense.
As far as tornado goes it was almost as if i was com during the dream bec it would be dark,then windy, then an array of oranges,light black and a hense of green. It was close to us out in the street but never hit us and once it passed the sky went white and it started snowing. Also in the dream there was little kids i was looking after who had been abused but not sure why they were there.Then it turned into a total different scence where i was walking down the street and some guy was trying to harass me and i thought i was going to be killed and then all of the sudden im in a room with 2 other roomates and its raining,i want them to come out in the rain but they all complained it would mess up their hair,then my old ex bf shows up(which is the only ex i never loved) but we went out and had some fun and it became sexual, then found out the 2 other roomates did him 2....thats all i can remember but its so random<HELP

To be honest, this explains me a lot. I've. Been having dreams of tornadoes ever since I was a young child. Were surrounded by mountain, which means ive never seen a tornadoe. In my dreams i always remember looking in the distane and seeing the tornadoes. I remember being very afraid and confused of whats happening. I lose myself after i wake up and im frightened of nothing. I was born and raised in montana, when I was 4 years old my mother left me with my grandmother and went to florida. She came back when I was 12. I Android now 15 and I'm schizophrenic (so they say), I do marijuana and, I am very animic. So this definatly sums it up.

Had an interesting dream last night... in it was a huge black tornado in far off in the distance heading towards me, but I didn't feel scared. I was just watching it. Then, not sure what happened... it either changed direction or just disappeared. But I remembered I was chasing after it trying to take a photo of it with my cell phone... I'm not sure if it broke into smaller ones or disappeared and smaller ones popped up, 3-4 small ones appeared all black, in the distance but not heading towards me, and again I was chasing them to snap a photo. But I entered some kind of field and a large cow chased me away... any suggestions? Cause, I wasn't in any of the tornadoes and wasn't fearing them but actually chasing them.

ReplyDeletelast night i had a dream i was visiting with some family. i was outside in a truck and saw a tornado coming my way i ran inside to tell everyone and everyone else kind of dissapeared for that moment and i got under the dinner table with just my mom, the tornado passed but never affected. after the tornado passed i left to take a cousin to a soccer game on our way my dad was driving and my boyfriend was with me too but my cousin was not, a bunch of tornadoes were forming and my dad kept swerving and avoiding them. we went up a hill when i begged him just to go back to the house we were at but we ended up in some fancy hotel. at hotel there was a notice of no more tornadoes but 5 mins later sirens, & news came on to warn everyone about a huge tornado at that moment my dad was gone too and all that was left was my boyfriemnd. i remember just calling my mom at the time of the news cast to please grab everybody & go into the basement and not come out. i would really appriciate if you can tell me what this means.
ReplyDeleteThis is such interesting information. Perhaps you could tell me some more about the dream I had last night. Now, to preface, I have had tornado dreams my entire life. I chalked it up to honestly being afraid of tornados but it seems like I might actually be able to relate the beginning of these dreams to a self destructive sister (which began when I was well under 10). Anyway, last night I was driving in a car near my house with my husband (he was driving) and there were about 5 tornados whipping around in the distance. He knows how terrified I am but his parents call him while we're driving to suggest we go out to dinner. I am begging him to just take me and the baby home but he keeps driving past our place. I remember there were more than a total of 5 tornados, maybe 9. I'm just trying to work this out in my head and I can't figure it out. Any suggestions?

Okay i had a dream about a tornado with someone that recently came in my life twice in a row the first one i was running away from the tornado but it was like it was looking for me and then it caught me and i was under the tip of it but i wasnt afraid.. and then the second dream was about a big tornado mess but then it was like it never happened and we where at a church and the guy in both dreams was really showing that he was trying to be there for me i really dont remember the other half but i was wondering if Mrs. Char can answer this one for me

But i lost my dad almost two years ago and recently had a dream that he was here only n my dream he was a ghost.i remember asking him if he watches over me and he told he couldnt.i also remember asking him what it was like up there and he told me it was ok except for the monster.any ideas on what this dream meant?
ReplyDeleteHi... I had a dream last night about a tornado. I was in my house, looking out at a tornado that I couldn't tell if it was coming towards me or away. The tornado was a very dark grey-black in color, almost completely black. I called my roommate to warn her, then went back and forth from cowering in the house to checking back on the tornado outside. The tornado would sometimes seem nearer or farther, bigger or smaller, fatter or skinnier. I think at one point in the dream I was coming back from the store getting gallons of water and other supplies I'd need to wait out a tornado, and the tornado seemed farther but I had a hard time walking back to the house, I felt like I was being sucked back. I also think for a brief moment in the dream I was randomly chased around by a white tiger... And that's all I remember, lol...

Think this might have influenced the dream at all? It's the only emotional upheaval I can really think of, been getting along okay with my family...
hi char i live in oklahoma and had worked a night shift on my third day at a new job. I went to sleep when i got home during daylight and dreamed about multiple tornados coming at my home. I got my wife and two girls and took cover but dont remember the tornados hitting the house. just me worried about protecting the girls. i also remember a friend who i previously worked with calling me asking if i was looking at them and to take care. i watched them develop but never came at me. i woke up and the news says we are under a tornado watch. i have been in 3 tornados before but dont recall dreaming about them. what do you think? -J. anthony

It was first dark my aunt and I were standing outside on her front porch when a tornando started forming, and as it formed lighting started to flash very sharp and sparks from the lighting bounced through the sky. My aunt an i went in the house to take cover i was kinda scared but we went in the room an got under the bed, but the tornando never came and I woke up. ReplyDeleteLast night I had a dream that I was in a storm with all my childhood friends. I grew up playing at a local baseball field, and when the storm started coming, everyone I knew ran againay a fence. I didn't feel safe becauae my family wasn't there, then I saw a friend I'm not really close to grab my hand and take me somewhere safe, and then once I was safe, he left. Then the tornadoes came, and my dad appeared, told me to lay down on the grass, and I did, and held his hand, but when the tornado got over us, it disinigrated, and I could see all these raindrops. What does that all mean? Lol
ReplyDeleteI have tornado dreams allllll the time, seems as though at least 5-6 times a month...last night I had one where there was a few people I think but I can't remember who, and I and I was cradling my little brother, who is 6 now, but I feel like he was maybe 2 or 3 in this dream and we were down in the basement for quite some time and the tornado picked up the house and swirled us around slowly for a while and we were back on the ground..and then the tornado kept circling around the house and we walked upstairs, my dad, my brother, and I with my labrador retriever, and my dad told me to "pluck the white hairs from my dog, cuz he's getting old, but don't worry about him, just leave him behind" and left me and my brother in the house, right before the tornado was going to hit us again...I could feel myself crying hysterically in my sleep and I woke up...this seems to happen to me every time I dream of them!!! I always wake up before the end and it always seems to be in different places, or houses, with different people but this one had to be the worst..it really freaks me out and scares me horribly. what could this mean?

ReplyDeleteMe and my teenage son were in a store across from where I use to work and in place of my old job was apartments where me and my children were living. My oldest son and I were at the store and then came the tornadoes. I grabbed my son close to me and then began praying. During the time of me praying my older cousin popped up and then a lady I didn't know looked at me like they were thankful that I start praying. Then the tornados stopped and they both thanked me for praying and I was telling them it was just natural instinct to pray they didnt need to thank me. Then me and my son went home to the apartments which was where my job use to be and my other kids were there and the apartments were damaged but my kids were okay. There were police inspecting the apartments as we walked up and let us know that no one was hurt and okayed us to go in. After this I woke up.
I would like some insight if you have any.. I have my own presumptions but would like to know what you think.
I do have a man in my life who drinks heavy but is no threat to my family and when I had the dream I was at his home.
I dreamt that I was in this beautiful massive room in a mall with christmas decorations and I felt very happy and quite in awe of the room which had clear windows surrounding it. Then I could see that a tornado was coming and outside went extremley dark, so everyone in the room (strangers) and I went to a safer place and we got liftted up in the tornado then thrown back down. It stopped then suddenly a voice over the loudspeaker said that due to the storm there was now a gasleak and everyone was panicking. I felt really worried for my partner whom I could not find whilst this was all happening. Could you please provide me with some further insight into this dream?

I had a dream that I was at my husbands family cottage, the floor plan was different though. My oldest sister and brother were there as well as my in-laws, husband and son. I was the sign of a tornato forming and urged everyone to get down and hide. I was holding my 16 month old son and huddled with my sister on a set of stairs when a tornato made of both water and wind hit the cottage. The cottage was destroyed and I could see myself thrown miles away, further than anyone. My thoughts were to not let go of my son, but somehow I did. I hit the water then quickly swam back to the wreck. My sister and brother were fine but my husband and son were missing. Panicked, I started looking for my husband and son directing the others to start looking too. My husband soon surfaced but I woke before I could find my son, but before I woke I had the fear I never would find him.

ReplyDeletei had a dream just right now it all looked grey outside a really bad storm, i was holding my son his about to turn 2 but in my dream he looked smaller like if he was between 5 to 8 months i was holding him strong, i was really afraid i ran to my moms place but it was at some apartments we lived there for years until we got a house i dont live with them anymore i have my own place an apartment :) different ones tho but in my dream i ran i would see several touching the floor then going up i saw like 4 of them i as got closer to my moms place i saw one heading our way inside the apartment was only my sister my mom had left to leave my lil brother to school and my dad was just not in my dream or my husband i told my sis "get in the closet theres a tornando coming" but she wouldnt act she ddnt believed me i had to drag her outside and show her but when i did that i was like "we arent safe here we have to run to my place" but the tornado was just to close i said "nevermind we have no time" we ran back inside and i said "send a txt to mom tell her we are hiding in the bathtub its safer if anything we will have to hold on real tight to it" i remember hearing a noise the tornado was tall skinny but it would go up and down i was afraid it would land on us luckily i passed right thru the closet where we were gonna hide originally and it had passed we received a call from my mom she was calmed and saying "hey dont believe that theres mo tornado i just told your dad to not worry he said it was close but i dnt think so" i was like whaaat really i yelled at her saying " NO MOM I JUST PASSED BY US WE SAW IT, IT PASSED SO CLOSE TO US" i was mad at her for i guess not keeping us safe and not believing my dad theni woke up
im not mad at my mom right now or my sister it just got me thinking what if it happened what would i do? like in real life where would i go? i remember often having this dream befor i got together with my husband and had my son i would always run and try to save my brother from school but in those dreams the tornado was huge like the ones they show on the weather channel that are a football field size

ReplyDeletei had this dream that my family and I were all out in the yard and then not knowing it no alarms or nothing tornadoes came flying at us and we had to get in the ditch 1 came and then 30 seconds to 1 minute later another 1 i ran beside the house when it wasnt coming then before i knew it i had cuts all over me i finally managed to make it in the house but everyone else was still outside after 30 minutes of tornadoes coming and going it was over we rode it out and no one was hurt except for me
my dream stated out with my boyfriend getting into a huge fight with a bunch of guys and one girl. i took on the girl, but since I'm not a fighter, i only restrained her from doing any damage to me, kinda like military style. after i was done, i went to look for my boyfriend, who turned into my best guy friend. i saw that he was injured really bad, and i started yelling out his name. i proceeded to take him to get medical care. when i got there, i went out to get fresh air, and saw the funnel of a tornado forming. i went back inside to take care of my friend and noticed a lot of people i didn't before, also looking for cover. a lady, who saw me and my friend took me to a room (almost like a padded room) and told me we can go in there for protection. I'm not sure if i went in or not but i remember waking up crying and calling for my best friend.. I'm not sure if any of this is even close to what your outlook is, but I'd really like your opinion on what it means.

i also wanted to add that the windows in the building were all huge and glass.. and during the whole dream, everything was bright. there was also a garden, very beautiful outside the building. the only time it got dark was when i found my friend lying on the ground.

I was dreaming i was somewhere that i have never been and somebody opening a blind and a tornado coming towards me so i took cover hiding my head and then 2 more came..i dont totally understand my dream but i could see some similar things in the 3rd paragraph.
ReplyDeleteI'v been having these tornado dreams alot more recently.. In the most recent one. I was standing in a house that in my dream I could tell I lived in but wasnt the house im currently living in. I could see the tornado in the distance.. My fiance was sitting outside on the porch. I walked inside the house for what felt like a a minuet my parents were there I was talking to them and then I felt the house start shaking. I started running to the door to find my fiance. When I got close to the door the house jerked an slammed me against the wall and I could see out the window my fiance hold on to the railing on the porch.. I woke up in my dream. and I was still in this house but now I was standing in the kitchen talking to my bestfriend telling her about the dream I had. then when I looked out the kitchen window I saw the tornado in the distance my bestfriend and I started freaking out we felt the house lift off the grown it didnt last long and the tornado dropped the house in the water. we swam to shore an my fiance was there to help us out the water.. i woke up after...

Wow oh wow!! This is crazyy..but sooo very truee..i relate to the whole thing! Im 20 & I just recently moved away with my boyfriend..not for anything bad it was actually for a job. But one of the things I had trouble with was leaving all my family behind. So separation from my family is why I've been having these dreams but also I have a 17 yr old sister who thinks she is grown and.keeps saying how shes.going to move out! My sister has been putting alot of stress on everyone and it seems like everytime we try to help her or tell her what's right she wants to distance herself just like you said. Its sooo crazy how I can relate to this all cuz of a dream!!!!

Well i dreamed that i was going outside while it was starting to rain and as i came back in i couldn't because a tornado had pulled me off the ground and into the air but then i woke up. What could this mean?

ReplyDeleteSomeone help please. I keep dreaming about tornadoes so far i had three dreams with two of them being the same. The first dream is that im at home inside with my family and it is very peaceful and out of nowhere a tornado siren goes off and i look out the window to try and find it then i remember being scared and driving away in a car and i saw multiple tornadoes and the further away i got the more at peace i felt and it wasnt as dark but i was feeling alone while driving away. The second one was the similar but i was upstairs and went to my brothers room and he was in the bed sleeping and his phone rang and it was a message saying that a tornadoe has touched down and everyone needs to go down stairs for cover so i started to look for something and could not find it but my brother was following me and i told him i quit looking and said lets go hide down stairs in my parents bathroom so i woke my mom and dad up telling them there is a tornadoe that touched down so my dad pulled out his phone to check and verified it. We all tryed to prepare to take cover so when i walked into the bath room,with next room being the closet, i see the tornadoe coming towards me. Then the fear started growing as it got closer but then i thought i caught a break because it turned and was running parallel with my house and was very close. However it turned back and hit the house and i had no time to act and i got sucked in hearing all my family members voices fading away and i couldnt breathe as time went by and i woke up. Theese dreams felt realistic and in all three dreams i only wake up after thinking im only dreaming so its wierd and scary. Please help me interpret it thank you

ReplyDeleteBe sure to read the General Interp about Tornadoes, but know that the personal symbols and interaction tell you what's happening for you.
You step out of the house. The house represents YOU...your thoughts, feelings, memories, consciousness, etc. It is raining. Rain = Emotions, pointing to that you may be depressed or are a very emotional person, and your emotions tend to sway your decisions. The tornado sucks you up into the AIR, which is the realm of thought. What's it's telling you is to balance your emotions with intellect and not get too "caught up" with either...don't over-analyze situations and don't over-react to them, either. Hope this helps. I used to have tornado dreams a lot in college and in them I was always alone. Last night was the first time I've had one and this time my mother and my daughter were with me. We took cover in the basement. I put my daughter in a closet and told her to stay there while my mother and I looked at the tornado coming through the basement window. It was heading straight for us. My daughter called for me to come in the closet with her so I did. My mother stood there with her arms open as if she were asking the tornado to take her instead of us. I could see what she was doing and told her to come in the closet with us. I could hear the tornado was getting closer. I told my daughter to hang on to me tight and I told my mother to help me hold the door closed. My daughter was behind me and I was behind my mother. We started to feel the vibration of the tornado, then I woke up.
ReplyDeleteLast night I had a dream and my brother who killed himself in 2005 was in the dream. We were both standing together and looking up at a giant white jet stream looking cloud that was vertical. After a few seconds or minutes the cloud turned into a huge tornado. It picked up a giant house and was carrying it across the sky. There was a feeling a fear and a little panic but we both remained calm because there was nothing we could do but watch.
ReplyDeleteI have to move out the house I grew up in in a couple of months. It is also the last house that my brother lived in before he died. I was just sitting here reading over what I just wrote and I remembered another dream I had where there was 5 tornado's in the town I live in. This dream occurred many years ago, but I kept thinking that it was a premonition that there was going to be actual tornado's in my town. But as I thought about it just now, I realized, I think it has to do with the fact that when my brother killed himself in 2005, he also killed four other people including himself making a total of 5 deaths that day. Maybe the 5 tornado's were representing the 5 souls that left their bodies that day. ..
I had a dream that I was in the mountains, a small town....and of nowhere almost 10 tornados were headed my way.

Then out of nowhere some big like airplane came to rescue the other people and me, and we felt safe for a while but the tornado still got to us.

Never are we harmed, but my mom, dad, sister, me and my daughter and puppy are there. ReplyDeleteI had a dream that my husband and I were standing at a bus stop. (We never take buses!!) I looked up at the sky and saw the clouds funneling. A cloud past by that looked like a hand giving a thumbs up. Then I saw the tornado coming at us. We ran to some strangers house and they allowed us to go into the basement. Someone brought our daughter to be with us because I kept saying she needed to be with me. Then we realized the tornado which I kept referring to as a twister was about to hit. At this point in the dream I woke up. This happened over and over last night about 7 times.
